  • FOX Kids! Has it been that long since we stopped having (good) cartoons after school?!

I got a top loader NES and its MUCH better than the old one.

I'm guessing Count DeClues Mystery Castle was a special?

Bunuelitos -- never even heard of them. Guess they didn't last long.

How cool were some of these licensed action figures? They really were the best in the 90s!

  • I miss u 90s 90s kids were tha best decade and always will be

  • lol mexican cereal

  • i remember all the cool tv series that were playing in '93: tiny toons, batman animated series, xmen, animaniacs and power rangers( i only saw the first 2 seasons, super sentai series are more entertaining if all of you want to check :)

    what a cool era to be a kid/teenager :)

  • Haha I rember when tetris was the black ops of video games, NES was the PS3, supper was 530 sharp, and you ate what you were served. The good ol days man. Im tellin you.

  • I think this, more than any other volume here, sums up my childhood. Throw in an X-Files bumper and it would be perfect.

Also, is that Omri Katz at the beginning of the Tetris commercial?

  • the best "Treehouse of Horror" was the first one, IMO

  • "He's so morphin!"

today kids would be bored w/ Stretch Armstrong in 30 seconds

I sure moms loved cleaning up the the slime f/ the "Slimenator" toys

I LOVED Droopy, I forgot that it was resurrected for a while

  • I remember Stretch Armstrong.

Definitely NOT as durable as I was led to believe.....

  • @Aphytus So true. My Stretch Armstrong tore open on the same day I received it (Christmas 1993). They're loaded with corn syrup.

  • I remember having all those attack pack toys...except all the big ones like Slime-inator. And the ones that growled...those were awesome toys.

  • I must have been fully into Nickelodeon by '93 because it seems I never really saw any of these sorts of Fox cartoons.

  • My husband has one of those top-loading NES decks. It's pretty excellent.

I was 10 when these aired. For some reason, I really hated Power Rangers at the time and thought it was the dumbest shit ever. Now that I'm 28, I watch Super Sentai series and think they're awesome. Go figure.

  • @skystarless

lol I remember the Power Rangers it was so stupid, I used to complain because at the time they stopped playing Saturday cartoons you know the good ones not the crappy ones they were playing in mid 90's

  • my friend Chris got mt circle of friends into marvel and x-men.. good times we were insane for it,.. then about a year later i discovered the animated series was coming and we went nuts... we were HUGE x-fan back in the day.

  • I still have my enterprise....and it still works!!!!! good times....

  • love that old lady playing sega its lol

  • Seeing promos for my favorite shows of all time, "Animaniacs" and "Tiny Toons" brings me right back. Thanks for posting these.

  • X-men, Batman: The Animated Series, Animaniacs, The Simpsons etc. Fox had all my favorite cartoon shows, lol.

  • Ah, back when there was still Saturday morning cartoons worth watching. I miss those times. Heh, love the reaction of the girls admiring the red ranger. I wonder how many takes they had to do. Women dig guys in spandex. lol

  • Also the CGI Rocket Night mascot that pops up looks like the same model they use for remake of Rocket Night Adventures on Xbox Marketplace and PSN.

  • OMG the Rocket Night Adventures commercial.

  • 1:12 "A few more will turn you on"

    Wow Sam, really?

  • There's bombs in it!

  • An Erk allert! LOL!

  • Wow, those ships in the Star Trek NG toy commercial moved pretty slowly, usually kids in those things swoosh them like crazy... At least that what I used to do in my garden with my Micro Machines...

  • To think I could have been watching this on TV yesterday 17 years ago. If only the 90s never ended...

  • Ah Playmates. One of the best toy companies ever.

I remember seeing promos for X-Men back then and thinking "OMIGOD! MORPH'S ALIVE! AND EVIL!" I used to love it, but after watching it again recently I've seen it hasn't aged well.

I missed the Simpsons marathon in '93. At that point they were only on Treehouse of Horror IV, so that means it would have been all of them uncut. I noticed that in the promo you can see a deleted bit of Bart wanting to sell his soul for that sports car.

  • Zack, Zack, he's a psycho maniac!

  • this is my childhood right here lol.. i was 7, LOVED tiny toons, the power rangers and brisco county jr.
