"The superirity" of F430 vs R8 is NOT shown in this video. Novitec Rosso is a Ferrari (and Alfa Romeo) tuning company, hence the F430 IS NOT STANDARD. Novitec boosts power output to as much as 707 hp for the F430 (490 hp standard), so comparing the 2 cars performance from this video is pointless and stupid.
Even though, the F430 is still my favourite car of all time. If I could choose from any car in the would choose a F430 from Novitec rosso!

that sure didnt move like a modified F430. Especially on the take off. The F430 STOCK from the jump would have beat it pretty bad but being a novitec, it should have killed it.
The Ferrari is a twin supercharged F430 with probably 200HP more than the R8. and it also appears both of these are really crappy drivers. a stock R8 and stock F430 would be much closer battle.

The Ferrari is one of my favorite cars but its not that far ahead as you speak. The R8 is in the same Category as the F430.

Put that F430 above with the Audi R8 v10 and you will see how it dominates. Just go look up some tests on the tracks, the R8 v10 got better times, and stop bringin up the scuderia.
Also why do you keep bringing up Jeremy and what he said, the guy has no taste in cars and if you watch the show enough you will see it and if I can remember correctly he also said that the car is great and he really liked the car.
The Audi R8 got "Car of the Year" from some major car enthusiasts.

I bring up the R8 V10 because its more in the class of the F430. The Scuderia is just a stripped down sport car. The R8 V10 isn't meant to compare with the Scuderia and there for it will lose.
The R8 v8 obviously doesn't have the power to go against a F430.
If im gonna compare a car with the Scuderia, i would compare it with like the Nissan GT-R spec v. And I too like Top Gear a lot because of there honest opinions.
Dont get me Wrong Ferrari is Fave of mine, but the Audi R8 is a real Supercar.

Still, the design of the automobile is simple, fundamental and from some perspectives even ugly. It does not look like a real supercar - it looks like an enhanced TT...
The F430 is much superior in terms of design, performance, driving ability and overall feeling; a comparison betwwen the two cars is out of place.

You just said the same thing over again, and the F430 is not superior. The R8 is just as good if not better. The new V10 R8 that came out Beats the F430 in performance and so many other things. The price tag doesn't have to be 200k+ for a car to be a real super car.
The Supercars with the lower price tags offer the same luxuries and some times even the better performance. The Audi R8 is a Real Supercar whether you like it or not. Go look at some of the times the Audi R8 got. Nurburgring track.

Well one thing i will admit is that, The R8 doesn't have that aggressive high pitch revs other supercars give, which I think is kind of a negative. But other than that, The R8 is a Fantastic Supercar.

"The superirity" of F430 vs R8 is NOT shown in this video. Novitec Rosso is a Ferrari (and Alfa Romeo) tuning company, hence the F430 IS NOT STANDARD. Novitec boosts power output to as much as 707 hp for the F430 (490 hp standard), so comparing the 2 cars performance from this video is pointless and stupid.
Even though, the F430 is still my favourite car of all time. If I could choose from any car in the would choose a F430 from Novitec rosso!

The F430 Scuderia is a VERY STANDARD (albeit enhanced version) of the normal F430 just like the R8 V10 is to the R8 V8... besides, who cares about "standard versions" or anything that retarded for the matter?
We 're putting in comparison two super sports cars which happen to be in the same league regarding their performance so a comparison between the two is very legit - not stupid.
The Scuderia happens to be the better car and I clearly explained why.

Maybe I did not express myself clearly enough, based upon this video you cannot compare the 2 cars, due to the fact that the F430 is from novitec rosso (tuned version). Also I wonder why you constantly talk about the scuderia, which is a mix the ordinary road going F430 and the track version (real race).- Have you got some sort of information that was others dont have got? Because I read "430 Novitec rosso" in the title not "F430 Scuderia". But really, the video doesn't show it clearly.

Apart from that, I do agree, Ferrari F430 would smoke R8 any day. I love the R8, but F430 is my alltime favourite car, all I'm saying is that this video is no base to compare from.

The Ferrari is a twin supercharged F430 with probably 200HP more than the R8. and it also appears both of these are really crappy drivers. a stock R8 and stock F430 would be much closer battle.

You bet. Jeremy Clarkson loves the R8, but this R8 even failed to match Porsche Carrera 2S & 911 GT3 with 70bhp & 5bhp less than the 420bhp R8 respectively, you can watch it in TG. So I wouldn't put my money on the 5.2 R8 either, coz it has yet to make the F430 doing the 'soul searching'.
