Land of bear and Land of eagle Land that gave us birth and blessing Land that pulled us ever homewards We will go home across the mountains We will go home, we will go home We will go home, across the mountains We will go home, we will go home We will go home, singing our song Hear our singing, Hear our longing We will go home across the mountains We will go home, we will go home We will go home, across the mountains We will go home, we will go home We will go home, we will go - home.

@macooler No, Requiem for a dream (o Lux Aeterna) es de la banda sonora de la película Requiem por un sueño (compuesta por Clint Mansell). "Fantastic scene... From a movie which could have been so much better..."
King Arthur wasn't a bad movie in my opinion, but I would agree with you it could have been better. It had a great cast who really fit their roles well, the movie is to long though and the story veers off course more than a few times, they could have cut 20-30 minutes completely out of this and made it better. What's crazy is a sequel was planned but since this one tanked it was put to rest.
It reminds them where they are from...their roots, that they are strong..and one day some how they will see home...in death or in this world they will go home
When I saw this scene for the first time, it had the same effect on me in the same manner as Arthur and his men. And nit is odd that this song, short as it was, carried so much resonance that cut to the very core with so much gravity. And after all this time, I had to find it again after someone stole most of my DVD's including King Arthur.
OSSETIANS THE REAL PEOPLE CAME FROM SARMATIA ,THEY CALL THEM SELFS "IRON" ASSIMILIETED AS ARIANS ,NEXT GEORGIAN NAME "OVSI" KNOWN AS OSSETIANS ...WE ARE VERY PROUD OUR ANSETORS!!!
Someone on youtube with an awesome singing voice should sing the whole version of the song. The other verses that weren't included in this are just as lovely.
@ThrashMetalGuy no way man. lol, i know it`s a long time since you wrote this comment but i just have to correct you. it is a decent movie, but there are two movies that are just way better than any epic historical movie. braveheart and gladiator. i also think both is two off the best films ever. if you have not seen them, do it now!
@hoodfigga33 for some reason i think at that moment he remembers what home is like, and how many men he has slain and kept from their homes. I also feel it reminds him of his childhood home and what it was like before all of the fighting and death. Arthurs men have to take so many lives: I believe they at times forget the value of life, only to remember at times such as this, and I believe they do feel a sense of honorable sorrow for the fallen.
@sheffieldmvp I tend to watch this movie with my Dad every once in awhile.. as soon as I see the men's faces go emotionless and fill with sadness and regret - in my opinion - I interpet the scene in my own personal manner. I feel "home" is heaven. I feel once "we cross the mountains into the sunlight" we will be welcomed by our lost love ones with open arms from not our Grandparents or reltaives, but God too. To be truthful, I always tear up at this scene because it makes me feel this way.
not only did it seem like lancelot knew he was going to die but so did tristram in this video... his facial expression seemed a bit like meh i know ima die...
@sheffieldmvp Well they were taken from nomadic hill tribes to be trained to be in a sense "Super Soldiers" for Rome, They came from what was in the eyes of Romans barbaric peoples who only cared for bloodshed, They were intended not to care who they killed or why as long as they got it done. I do agree with you on the rememberance of their childhood tho and they wanted to be free and who wouldnt want that?
best song of all time! inspires me to climb a mountain right fucking now yo!

Someone on youtube with an awesome singing voice should sing the whole version of the song. The other verses that weren't included in this are just as lovely.

@ThrashMetalGuy no way man. lol, i know it`s a long time since you wrote this comment but i just have to correct you. it is a decent movie, but there are two movies that are just way better than any epic historical movie. braveheart and gladiator. i also think both is two off the best films ever. if you have not seen them, do it now!

i love the expression on lancelot's face, its like he already knows he'll end up dead for arthur's pride.
