Nice ideas, especially I liked your dust-collector ideas of velcro & removable plate for it. Automatic zeroing your Z was also nice idea. I must try to search simiar quick-change adapter for my mill also, then I would benefit for having similar zeroing plate. I have also seen somebody made it from glassfiber PCB-material. I have also small DIY cnc-mill & DIY cnc-lathe (conversion) in my workshop.
