Yea, the guy around 1:50 with the aluminum Seymour scythe. I don't want to talk trash about the euro scythe, but reading the rhetoric you find on most euro scythe dealers you'd think american scythes did the holocaust. Pretty silly if you ask me, they just aren't using them right.

@ndudman8 Probably because he came on here and watched all the videos of euro scythes being swung in a 10 foot arc. That just aint how an american scythe cuts. I mow with an american scythe and it works just fine. You just cant over exert yourself and you have to left the weight of the scythe be your friend, If you fight with it it will kick your ass.

@aguineapig I actually meant a comment at the end of this video (Spoken).. I didn't mean to criticize mowing, as you can see from my channel I really like mowing with a scythe, but rather was just surprised to hear/see a video of people excited about mowing making the comment "you can mow for 20m and be so exhausted, its so cool" as I think that would put most people off. Mowing can really be relaxing and meditative... thanks for replying
