The Rika-Keiichi mode leads into the Miotsukushi, a new arc they never animated that has Rika and Keiichi working together to literally prevent every other story arc from occurring.

Kakera Asobi is the improved version with certain corrections and extras like special and entertaining little commentaries with the anime characters after each arc.

i originally thought visual novels were boring but...when i played it...i liked it even more than the anime lol (btw im talking about the original doujin not matsuri) it's more complete and my love for the characters multiplied seriously (i can't stop loving day 5, and the scenes were portrayed better than the anime even though they were just letters!) I think any format in a visual novel is okay as long the story is good

They did. It's called Higurashi Daybreak on the PC and it's a fighting game along the lines of the Gundam games for the PS2.

I think that that is a fan-made game. I mean a real offical product for a console (PS2 for example). Or a mystery game for the DS in the same style as Another code (Trace memory) or Hotel Dusk.

They've finished the Higurashi series anyway. Now they're doing Umineko no Naku Koro ni.

Nothing really if you like reading books and such. Im not such a fan of books so im not a real fan of visual novels. There are a few exceptions like Narcissus, Higurashi and Fate/stay night. Eventhough they are good in visual-novel form I think that they would be better in 3D form.

No, Higurashi Daybreak is an official game. It is a doujin game, as Higurashi is a doujin visual novel. Doujin means 'amateur' not 'fan-made'. Pls get ur shit straight.
