Hi Aimson. Thankyou for your wonderful videos and thankyou for your comments about Glenn Gould. I couldn´t have articulated it, better myself. Brilliant.

I agree with you about Hillary Hahn. Something interesting is that the same day I was playing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto on Orchestra Hall stage with the Detroit Civic Orchestra, she was playing it later with the same conductor as me, Peter Oundjin, at the same place, but with the DSO. I don't know, but hers was really different I'm sure. I try to be old school, and admire Heifetz.

Hi Fry. I just want to say that your commenting in regards to Sitkovetsky´s interpretation of Bach BWV 1004, is so accurate. Its pensive and unique, reflective and introspective and in my humble opinion, on an emotional level that even surpasses Milstein, who is understood to be the best interpretator of Bach´s sonatas and partitas. This recording with Sitkovetsky simply blew me away. Its possibly the most moving performance og Bwv 1004, I´ve ever heard.
Thanks. Now I am listening to the Gleen Gould recording you´ve posted under your favorites. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I think his Goldberg Variations are the best and will never be surpassed by any other pianist in historie. My favorite author, Thomas Bernhard, thinks he´s the best pianist who ever lived. And he´s right. |

Thanx for the wonderful Channel.. |

Here, I'll get to the point: I love your channel. Do you have Heifetz or Milstein playing Tchaikofsky's Melody? It's not such a well-known piece, but I'm learning it now and would love to hear a recording.

Is Aimson the violin police? Who are you? A well known music critic, who do you write for-freelance? I am curious. I am not an expert on violinists but want to make sure the person i am getting info from is.
