Hey, asalaam, shalom, peace, namaste...

27 year young proud muslim here wanting to see the end of suffering on all sides. Though I might come across as biased towards my faith, I oppose torture, suffering, injustice and occupation no matter who is doing it. Hence I oppose suffering in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Darfur, and oppose dictatorship in the UAE, Pakistan and support democracy as seen in USA, Iran, Syria, etc. Everyone has the right to live the way they want in peace and dream to see their kids brought up in a safe environment. Thats why I love Pope John Paul II, Hamza yusuf, George Galloway and many others who support peace.

Apart from that I am a doctor so very interested in health care issues--hence the sensitivity towards suffering.
Gotta love the Jackson 5, Doobie Brothers (thanks cortmeister!), the 80's and 90's! Grew up watching GI Joe and transformers.
-Smiling is a charity so dont ever stop.
-Don't take things for granted.
-Remember to thank God for everything you have and don't have as often as you can remember.

Interests and Hobbies: Pope John Paul II was a rare gift from God. He strongly advocated peace between muslims and christians. He spoke out for the minorities. The Pope promoted his own faith without appearing condescending of others. He opposed the war on Iraq and was an advocate for peace. A rare leader during times of radicalization, war, poverty, greed, intolerance and injustice. Every muslim who has read up on him will know what a great man he was. He kissed the Quran as a gesture of good faith, which was a rare event in recorded history. Rachel Corrie- Western human rights activist who was killed in Palestine for her stance against zionist agression towards Palestinians. She was only 23-24 years old. May she rest in peace and be rewarded for her noble actions.
Movies and Shows: Heroes, Lost, Smallville.
Books: Holy War-by Karen Armstrong. Stephen King fan so almost all his books. Medical books- too many to name. Quran-by God ;)
