A friend and I went to a John Edwards rally with my camera and we were going to ask him why he doesn't support the Kucinich-Conyers health care reform bill HR676 and why he doesn't want to pull out of Iraq immediately. A lady in his camp spotted my collegue handing around flyers outside and we believe he was told to avoid us. Someone who is normally a friend of mine was there supporting and campaigning as part of the group for Edwards. He was thrilled to see me at first, but then became very angry and aggressive towards me, getting up in my face when he saw a Kucinich flyer in my folder. We weren't even touting signs, but I was wearing buttons, of course. Funny. I thought that his chances were laughable, though he, and others, clearly saw our presence as a threat.
