The former house of Johnny Cash once stood on Old Hickory Lake, it burned down on Tuesday, April 10th 2007. Cash bought the house in 1968 after it was rebuilt from the fire which killed two of Roy Orbison's three sons. Cash had told Orbison "Only good things shall grow on this property" Cash owned it until his death in 2003, later the Cash family sold it to Berry Gibb, it engulfed in flames when they were repairing the house. No one was injured in the fire.
