I started messing around on the piano in my house about 6 years ago. I just learned by ear and not by taking lessons, so my playing's pretty sloppy. I wish I had the foundation that so many others on YouTube have. Still, it's fun...

These videos are either of my friends or me. I hope we can record more stuff together soon, because it's just about the most fun I ever have! Hopefully we will bring some glory to God above as well.

I'm from Memphis. Thank you for putting Phineas Newborn out there. He was/is an example of how magnificent talent can spring from this place. His infusion of classical music is awesome. His life took a sad turn and it is a shame that he didn't have better support. He migth have been one of the best. Memphis is also home to the late James Williams and Mulgrew Miller both of whom played with Art Blakey.
