Carnival in Aalborg is the largest carnival in Northern Europe with up to 25,000 carnivalists in the Grand Parade and more than 100,000 spectators catching the magnificent wave of colours and fantasy along the parade route.
What distinguishes the Carnival in Aalborg from most other carnivals is that everyone can participate in the Grand Parade! You don't have to be a member of a carnival group, don't have to enrol or know how to dance samba - just join in and have loads of fun!
