It's a sorry sign that many people consider cooking from scratch an unusual and even rare talent...Add to that the persuasive nature of contemporary marketing, which has convinced many people that fast food is not only quicker than home cooking but better and cheaper (it is neither, and in fact only marginally faster, if that), and you have a culinary crisis...Flavor, nutrition, tradition, and enjoyment are often sacrificed at the sacred altar of so-called convenience...Yet although we may gain marginal amounts of time by doing these things, we lose the delights of working in the kitchen, the wonders of creation, the pleasures of time spent in the honest pursuit of tradition and the nourishment of our bodies and those of our family... Everyday cooking is about preparing good, wholesome, tasty, varied meals for the ones you love. This is a simple, satisfying pleasure. Your results need not be perfect to give you this gift, to which all humans are entitled.

Hi Angie! Thanks for these lovely videos. This is my first year in tourism school. We have cooking classes twice a week. Your recipes are helping me to learn many techniques in the kitchen hehe. Please continue to do the best! Love you!

Your biscuit recipe is awesome! Works like a charm!
I was wondering what using a light hand meant from other videos, but you demonstrated it perfectly.
Thank you so much for enriching my families menu.
I lost my job and am now a stay at home domestic dad. I have discovered that, even though it's not considered manly by my fellow men to be the one cooking at home, I find that I really am enjoying the baking allot.
My wife loves it too because I've turned out to be a marvelous baker. Plus she thinks that it is special to have a man cook for her for a change.
She says it feels good to "be served" instead of doing it for others.
Thanks for the bottem of my heart for the sweet recipe.
