i noticed if anyone puts a link in the description box of a video, the link will not work. it only recognizes part of the link and spaces the rest.

Bleh. I've given up trying to actually communicate with Youtube myself. They're adept at ignoring everything I send them. Well, I did warn them of a sociopath stalking various people on the site at which point they told me to block him if he was bothering me. So, yeah. I've kind of given up, sadly. I guess there's that tiny glimmer of hope that makes me keep watching YTA.

Thanks for the comment about my profile, by the way. I'm a bit on the inactive side these days since I don't have a computer handy all the time, but I hope I can get back on the horse when I get back home to my iMac.

Why not try to "kitbash" a button on the Design page for those who want one, to turn the Featured vid on and off? That way, both sides of the debate would benefit. :)

Hey there, just found your page, and totally agree. What bothers me most is the day I spent trying to figure out what "I" did wrong.

I can guess why this change has happened, but I don't understand why our choice has been removed.

I strongly recommend that youtube reconsider this one and return to the user a way to turn this off. Make the default "on" if you must, but let me turn it off so my viewers will not be annoyed.
