Frank Zappa tells the story behind "Bobby Brown" YourArf - 72 views - 1 day ago
Recording of FZ telling the story behind "Bobby Brown (Goes Down)", one of his most famous songs that were on top of the charts in some European countries around 1979/80.

The common story behind the song is that FZ's record company pushed him to write a song that would sell. This is a myth, since FZ was more or less independant at the time he wrote the song.

Recorded at the Palladium in New York City, 1977-10-29.
