A summary of a workshop about why and how to nurture relationships without expectations.

The main insight was that having strong expectations of others wears us down, because ultimately nothing outside of us can make us happy. But luckily we have a choice in every moment to expect or to accept.

It was facilitated by Ashik Shah and Menka Parekh as part of the happiness session of the Young Jains 'Bridging the Gap' International Convention 2009.
