About Dedicated to Philhellenes & people who love Ancient Greece
The various videos I present are on the greatness of Hellenism, which include Greek mythology, history and philosophy, accompanied with the best of Greek music, from contemporary classics, to traditional folk songs of all regions, including Epirus, Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly & Crete.
This channel was made as my effort to recreate for the modern English speaking person the vast scope of Hellenism.
I try to recreate the spirit of each phase, from the masculinity of Heracles and the Dorians, to the values of the Ancient Greeks reported in their own words, and to the great impact of Greek mythology on the Greek mindset.

The nickname I chose is part of the condition I see in today's world, and the solutions that are at times ironic.
Certainly, a janissary was a soldier in the Ottoman empire, who was taken from Greece and other Christian Balkan lands and turned into killers.
I did not choose this nickname to make fun of the suffering of the Greek nation at the hands of these brainwashed killers.
Rather, I use them to highlight what I believe will save humanity from becoming intellectual slaves. Modern Greece is part of the post-Ottoman world, and has thus inherited some of its culture, from sensualism to dogmatism. By appropriating our enemies' ideological weapons, we can use them to our advantage.
The future of our enemies is to share with them the values of Hellenism and allow them to adapt these ideas to their cultures.
