Not long after moving to Christchurch, New Zealand and completing her schooling Yulia was discovered on a local television show. She was signed to SONY Music NZ to a 6 album deal and released two Classical Crossover No.1 hit albums, achieving an official 6 times platinum sales, winning 2 NZ music awards and 3 radio hits.

Sony ownership changed and with Sony Music NZ now managed from Australia and no longer actively supporting the development and export of Classical Crossover Yulia left the label.

During the period from 2006 to 2009 Yulia has focused on further developing her amazing coloratura voice. She has become one of NZ's most popular live performers, developing her own shows and raising literally hundreds of thousands of dollars per annum for NZ charities.

In 2009 Yulia is focused on finding a new record label and tour promoters to introduce the voice of rare beauty to international audiences.
