"Watchmen" is a mystery adventure set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight.
When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?

On July 24th, Summit Entertainment will showcase cast members, filmmakers and new footage from the movie during Comic-Con 2008. The studio's panel presentation will take place at 1:15 to 2:45pm in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center.
Director Catherine Hardwicke, book series author Stephenie Meyer and the cast including Robert Pattinson (Edward), Kristen Stewart (Bella), Cam Gigandet (James), Rachelle Lafevre (Victoria), Edi Gathegi (Laurent), Taylor Lautner (Jacob) will answer questions about bringing these characters to life on the big screen as well as showing exclusive footage from the film.
Additionally, visitors to the Summit Entertainment booth located within the Grand Hall will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with life size standees of Twilight's Edward, Bella, James, Laurent or Victoria and instantly e-mail the images to friends. At the booth, attendees will also have the chance to win one of thousands of exclusive and limited Comic-Con promotional prizes including "Twilight" items.

Academy Award winners Robert De Niro (Raging Bull) and Al Pacino (Scent of a Woman) star as a pair of veteran New York City police detectives on the trail of a vigilante serial killer in the adrenaline fueled psychological thriller Righteous Kill, directed by Jon Avnet (Red Corner, Fried Green Tomatoes) and written by Russell Gewirtz (Inside Man). The cast also features hip-hop superstar Curtis Jackson (Get Rich or Die Tryin'). After 30 years as partners in the pressure cooker environment of the NYPD, highly decorated Detectives David Fisk and Thomas Cowan should be ready for retirement, but aren't. Before they can hang up their badges, they are called in to investigate the murder of a notorious pimp, which appears to have ties to a case they solved years before. Like the original murder, the victim is a suspected criminal whose body is found accompanied by a four line poem justifying the killing. When additional crimes take place, it becomes clear the detectives are looking for a serial killer, one who targets criminals that have fallen through the cracks of the judicial system. His mission is to do what the cops can't do on their own—take the culprits off the streets for good. The similarities between the recent killings and their earlier case raise a nagging question: Did they put the wrong man behind bars?
