I actually didn't really edit this with the full intent to win (although I still do want to win to some extent) but with the intent of seeing the audience's response to something more different. I decided to edit this with a grindhouse theme and an unfamiliar source, so I'm expecting people to be unfamiliar with the editing style and anime, ergo, giving me mixed reviews (and so far it's generally being accepted well so I guess my expectations were pretty wrong :D) .
I edited the first 40 seconds without any audio because I didn't have a song chosen at the time. I believe I went through 20 songs or so until I landed on Sxy by ZXYZXY. After I had the song chosen, I edited up to a minute twenty which is when I went into a temporary state of hibernation (aka, laziness...as always =.=).
I then completed the rest of the video on the day it was due...Honestly editing this video felt like releasing rage and anger towards a salad bowl; various fruits and vegetables flying all over the place.
ANYWHO I will now go back to battle retirement and never force myself out of it again.

To those wondering, there were a lot of subtle and obvious changes:
- The gun is an obvious thing. Thats actually Gendo Ikari's hand and gun
- When Shinji shoots Misato, he actually frowns in the anime, I made him smile :)
- Clean/bloody hand at the end is actually meant to be covered in Shinji's sperm from masturbation
- Lots of colour changes to set different times of the day
- Asuka is meant to be naked in the last scenes in the hospital but I covered her (For youtube guideline reasons)
- Katsuragi's suicide is edited
- Removed blood from Misato's hands
- Look for the white gloves near the end... :D
- Theres some other ones but I can't be bothered...I typed WAY too much already...
