First elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1992, Xavier Becerra proudly represents California's 31st District and serves as Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. He is a longstanding member of the powerful Ways and Means Committee. His district covers most of northeast Los Angeles and parts of Hollywood, South L.A., Koreatown, and Pico-Union/Westlake.
