Created in late 2003 as a different kind of professional paintball team, XSV (pronounced "Excessive") truly came into their own as a professional franchise in 2004. The team has helped launch some of the very best paintball equipment in the game today. XSV added some of the most famous names in professional paintball to their roster and as the seasons progressed, the team picked up steam, and began winning at the highest levels. By the 2005/2006 seasons, XSV was regarded as one of the very best in the sport. XSV has been featured on the covers of numerous magazines, with XSV players the focus of several interviews and player profiles seen by hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. All this success has propelled XSV to fame as one of the most recognizable paintball teams in the professional circuit. XSV currently competes at the professional level in the NPPL professional seven-man paintball league.
