"Collaboration is to great art what the elephant is to the room." Cautious Clay, the head of Xrntivy Records, said that right before he confronted "Transparent" Terry Twill on the man's rampant sampling of L'il Bach's Fifth Symphlette in the hit single "Glorbule Mons by Lamplight." Soon after, Terry gave credit where it was due (in the liner notes), continued to climb the charts and lost all of his profits to royalties. He died last year and now contemplates Hoffstadt's Pillar indefinitely.
"It's good to be the King." I said that just now. And in the spirit of that solemn accord, my great wealth and artists everywhere, I wish to discuss another historic collaboration. The time when Wrestling Team put the means of comedy production into the hands of that modern-day proletariat known collectively as Craigslist, a den of twerps and creepy trolls crawling across the filth-caked basement floor of the Information Age. The quality of what the comedy duo got in return for their magnanimity is debatable, as is all truly great art, but I'm here to tell you that it really is just a load of bullshit.
