Whistler Blackcomb is a year-round resort located in Whistler, Canada. Located a scenic two-hour drive north of Vancouver up the spectacular 'Sea to Sky' Highway, this resort is home to the continent's two greatest vertical-rise ski mountains Whistler and Blackcomb. Over 17 alpine bowls, four glaciers, 200 trails, 8,171 acres of skiable terrain and a one mile vertical rise, the choices of where and what to ski/ride at Whistler Blackcomb from beginner to advanced terrain are staggering.

In summer, Whistler Blackcomb is home to the gravity fueled Whistler Mountain Bike Park; known as the best lift-accessed downhill bike park on the planet. Meanwhile, alpine hiking and sightseeing in the summer is phenomenal with incredible vistas of the surrounding Garibaldi Provincial Park.

With the landmark Peak to Peak Gondola opening in December 2008, the Whistler Blackcomb experience is set to elevate to new heights.

Joined at the base by a vibrant pedestrian village filled with restaurants, patios, cafes, shops, galleries and spas, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this four season resort is spectacular.

I love Whistler. I went there last year. It was the greatest days of my life. I want to live there when i am older.

An internationally-friendly skiier destination resort. You can find accomodations ranging from dorms, B&B style, slope-side condos to high-end luxury concierge-laden personal service hote suites.

Oh yeah, and there are TWO world-class mountain complexes with near endless powder and slopes, form beginner to daredevil challenges. Along the way, enjoy your family, your lover, make new friends, try bold cuisines and make new friends. All at the current rate of the Canadian dollar, which is a bargain compared to much of Europe and other northern hemisphere ski destinations.

My heart grows stronger, my soul soars and my skiing skills improve with every visit to the mile-high vertical drop of a Nirvana they call Whistler & Blackcomb. Satisfied? Never! I must return again and again.
