FIRSTLY, CAN I MAKE ONE THING CLEAR - I AM NOT TRYING TO BE THE EDGE / DAVID EVANS. I LOVE U2's MUSIC AND I LOVE PLAYING U2's MUSIC - THAT IS AS FAR AS IT GOES! My aim with these videos is to demonstrate that you don't need to spend thousands on expensive, authentic equipment to get near enough to the sound of The Edge. With only a very basic set-up, hopefully people will be inspired to pick up whatever guitar they have and produce some very pleasing results.
I am by no means perfect or correct in my interpretations of Edge's work, YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT, just play and love what it is you produce. It's the spirit of the music that's important and we can all find that.
