In the last few weeks, many of my videos have been disabled due to copyright issues.

I'm aware that the owner of a song has the right to do whatever he pleases in this kind of situation, but honestly: I don't think a video on youtube will keep someone from buying an album. In fact, take a recent example: the Monty Python have created their own youtube channel, with high-quality videos, and guess what - their DVD sales have boosted IN THE STORES.

The Velvet Underground are still a very unknown band. My only goal was to upload as many of their songs as I could in order to introduce the band to as many people as possible. I wasn't looking for any personal or financial return whatsoever.

Anyway, there's no point in uploading more videos.
Please check the ones that are still up, and enjoy.
As for the labels: I honestly hope you do a good job promoting VU.
