The Wizard World Film Festival is an exciting portion of the Wizard World Tour, the popular comic book and pop culture series of live public events. It is a unique festival, allowing the thousands of Wizard Word convention attendees to vote on their favorites in the various genres that they love, providing the filmmakers with an audience well schooled in what's cutting edge, hip and now. The inaugural event was held at Wizard World Texas 2006 and received a fantastic response, making the festival a mainstay on the Wizard World Tour. The 2007 festival was held at Wizard World Los Angeles, showing a tremendous amount of growth in only it's second year. 2008 has the festival firmly planting it's roots at Wizard World LA where it will continue to provide an exciting look into the growing world of independent film for the thousands of Wizard World Tour convention goers and an incredible venue for filmmakers everywhere.
