Cuyahoga County is still experiencing 1,200 foreclosures every month, despite a federal mortgage rescue effort and determined efforts to stem the calamity and keep homeowners under roof. Some talented local teenagers experienced a unique style of music from the Far East. Area students learned the art of Japanese Taiko drumming both at the Idea Center in Playhouse Square and at the Cleveland School of the Arts. Their teacher was Taiko drum master, Eitetsu Hayashi.
