Name: Cassidy

Born in Belgium, travelled a year to India at age 19, mind explorer... A big music lover. Went to U.S. for 2 years in 81 to meet my strange heroes (California dreaming!!!). Moved to CA for good in 87. Stayed 15 years. Got an art degree. Lived in Marin, worked for Backroads Music, fell in LOVE with that part of California, hard to live there (way expensive..) but the perfect climate, fresh air, nice folks and most of all a deep connection to the EARTH there...
Moved back to Belgium in 2002 (don't ask why! Rash move...) First move looked good, got a Masters in Cultural Anthropology, went to Africa on research couple times, but eventually no Ph.D. grants for this Belgian from California. You don't get those past the age of 29 here.Yup. Europe ain't NO California baby....
So FOR NOW, I'm in Brussels writing.
Worth mentioning? I had fun writing an essay on nomadism as part of my Master's thesis: So happens I had a lot to say on Neo-Nomadic tribes in well-developped Western countries..... Told them Belgian professors all about the Grateful Dead! It was great. It was well received too. I love universities gotta say....
