In her "Wednesday Classes" attended by the students and sadhaks of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram the Mother read from Sri Aurobindo's works and commented on the text or answered questions. On October 23 1957 she began the reading of the last six chapters of Sri Aurobindo's "The Life Divine".

These films were created by the working group of the University of the Integral Yoga online as a part of the educational program on the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

"All life is either consciously or subconsciously a Yoga. For we mean by this term a methodised effort towards self-perfection by the expression of the secret potentialities latent in the being and a union of the human individual with the universal and transcendent Existence.Yoga may be regarded as a means of compressing one's evolution into a single life or a few years or even a few months of bodily existence.

The way of yoga must be a living thing, not a mental principle or a set method. In this yoga the whole principle is to open oneself to the Divine Influence.

In the beginning the one great necessity is to get the mind quiet, reject at the time of meditation all thoughts and feelings. When the mind falls quiet and the concentration becomes strong and the aspiration intense, then there is a beginning of spiritual experience."

These conversations were held from December 18, 1925 to November 20, 1926. Pavitra arrived at Pondicherry on the 17th of December, 1925. He never left Pondicherry again, where he lived for forty-four years in the service of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. These brief conversations were noted from memory.
