Trevor Chances LEGENDS celebrate 19 years at the very top of the tribute industry this summer in Blackpool with not one but THREE line-ups of fabulous show, this year bringing sister show Rock Royalty to the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
The Central Pier show LEGENDS - LIVE!, glossy and newly rocked up after last years sell out 10th anniversary show kicks off alternating cast line-ups in style with the fabulous Freddie Mercury and Queen, this year joined by the dynamic million-hit wonderboy Buddy Holly, the glamorous and beautiful Diana Ross and American songwriting legend Neil Diamond. Week two fires up with a Brit Invasion-style show featuring the off-the-wall David Bowie, the very much back-in-vogue George Michael, loveable rogue Robbie Williams and arguably Britains best known song-smith, John Lennon. Of course, returning back will be popular master of ceremonies and clever funny-man Tom Bright.
LEGENDS ROCK ROYALTY carries on the tradition of amazing look/soundalike performers backed by the cream of British musicians, dancers, singers and production staff, this year with a special twist.
The King Elvis Presley, hit after hit from early sun records right through to his twilight career at the pinnacle of Las Vegas entertainment.
The Queen Reginald Dwight, better known as Sir Elton John, a man of a thousand hits and as many costumes - from the glamorous heyday of feathers, lyrca and ridiculous eyewear, rock and rolling right up to date with all the tantrums and tiaras of his Las Vegas Red Piano tour.
The Bonnie Prince Charlie of the pack, the acrobatic Rod Stewart every number a party for the audience AND the performers, every inanimate object seemingly made into a flying prop! Dont miss the antics...
The Pint Sized Princess of Pop, the Ozzie Pix with a disco fix, Kylie Minogue, going back to the Old Skool with the Stock Aitken and Waterman years and in a flash bringing us cutting edge Stadium filling superpop, taking full advantage of the huge playing field that is the Tower Ballroom Stage.
On the nights Kylie is away touring (what else could we expect from an in-demand diva?), Irish Prince Ronan Keating will be stepping into the limelight, no doubt looking tanned and well kept from his new lease of Boyzone life.
Expect some rather interesting collaborations this year, as both venues will be introducing a
LEGENDS-CAM...sound curious? Imagine if George Michael and Elton John could do that duet one last time..without being on the same stage....? Youll get the picture but the grapevine says Legends will be giving you more bang for your buck than ever before. (the odd special guest..?)
Trevor Chances LEGENDS LIVE begins at the LEGENDS Showbar, Central Pier on Thursday 18th June and runs until Sat 31st October.
LEGENDS ROCK ROYALTY begins in the Tower Ballroom a month later, Saturday 18th July and also runs until Sat 31st October.
