Hi.. I saw this bird,...In 2004, Belle river Ont....I had a house on a flood plane, the house was about 120-100, year' s old. 4 or middle of high noon, I went upstairs to my room, over looking the flood plane , as I arrived in the room, this bird was flying, right toward my window,...we both looked at each other , startaled, He had nice big brown eyes,..at the last second he, flew up out of danger.. ie ( the side of my house )...circling the house and heading back toward the somewhat dry river bed. I continued to watch , as he flew around this river...He had a mate.. ans I have never seen a bird so tall,.. I thought it was because of the phonepoll. S he was a lighter, gold brown, plane...the male was grayesblue...He did not look mean, but I was supriesed he looked prehistoric.When I told my friends , we thought cranes...I didn"t really know about the bird, but was surprised he looked like he did... But now... this is great... he has a mate still?

do u have a face book or msn because i'd like to hear more about the sighting of the pteridactyl. i once saw a prehistoric bird like creature in the woods over the road from mine it looked like a ostridge but im sure it wasnt it had a long tail i was so surprised i just ran and i didnt take any pictures. i regret not taking pictures now. if u do have a face book then look me up... connor mcelroy...
