ITV National Weather started in September 1989. The opening sequence consisted of world spinning and a satilite, then the studio was shown with ITV National weather scrolling in.
The following year (1990), the opening sequence was changed to a globe, which zooms in and ITV National Weather slamms onto a screen. Around 1991, powergen logo were added to the opening sequence. This lasted until around January 1993.
