Steve Vai performs "Whispering A Prayer" from the 2-disc DVD "Live At The Astoria, London" filmed over two nights on December 6 & 7, 2001.
Joining Steve on stage are Billy Sheehan on bass; Tony MacAlpine on guitar and keyboards; Dave Weiner on 7-string guitar; and Virgil Donati on drums.
With approximately 4 hours of content, the "Live At The Astoria" is a must-have for any Vai fan. Nach über drei Jahren Albumpause geben die Electro-Rocker Apoptygma Berzerk endlich wieder Vollgas und veröffentlichen am 16.01.2009 mit „Apollo (Live on your TV) die erste Single aus dem mit Spannung erwarteten Werk ROCKET SCIENCE. Freunde des über Nacht zum Klassiker avancierten „In This Together und des Radiohits „Shine On dürfen sich freuen: Auch der Titeltrack ist ein elektronisch umgarnter Rockbrecher nach Maß geworden, der von warmen Synthie Arrangements getragen und von drückenden Gitarren nach vorn getrieben wird. Dazu beweist Bandkopf und Sänger Stephan Groth einmal mehr sein nur mit Gold aufzuwiegendes Talent, einen Killerrefrain aus dem Ärmel zu schütteln. Und damit nicht genug, denn bei diesem Song tritt kein Geringerer als Benjii Madden von Good Charlotte als Gastsänger in Erscheinung.
Keine Frage: Was die Electro Rocker da am 16.01.2009 über uns bringen werden, war die Wartezeit mehr als nur wert.
Der Februar wird dann ganz im Zeichen von Apoptygma Berzerk stehen, wenn die „Rocket Science live die Bühnen erobert. Hier die Daten:
