I was in the Air force for 16 years from 1985-2001 and served the entire time as a SIGNALS ANALYST for the National Security Agency. My assignments are listed below.

I retired under medical at 80% and after my retirement went to the Veterans Administration and was awarded 80% of the Air Force 80% as a tax free non-garnishable benefit paid monthly by the VA.

1985-1986 Stationed at Biloxi Mississippi for initial Morse Code Operator training;

1986-1988 Stationed at Misawa Air Base, Japan.

1988-1989 Stationed at Iraklion, Air Station in Crete, Greece.

1989-1992 Stationed at Misawa Air Base, Japan for the second time. T

1992-1997 Stationed at Kunia Regional SIGINT Operations Center (KRSOC) on Oahu, Hawaii.

HIGHLIGHT:
In 1996 I won the GOLD Medal in the Air Intelligence Agencies annual SENSOR OLYMPICS, a world-wide competition identifying the "TOP" personnel in various career fields. I was flown to HQ AIR Intelligence Agency at Kelly AFB, Texas for a week of VIP treatment. This included tours and meetings with the top level leaders in each of our career fields to provide them with insight from the field on where the career field was and was headed. The week culminated with an Awards Dinner & Ceremony where we were given our medals "Olympic Style". None of us had any idea which one we had won until then. We were only told that we had finished in the "TOP THREE". I remember how my heart felt like it was going to explode when they called the SILVER and BRONZE winners leaving my name for the GOLD MEDAL. I was shaking with excitement as I climbed to the top position on the three tier podium in to the thunderous applause from the audience, my family, and my peers.
NOTE 2: Prior to 1996 I had always finished in the "TOP TEN" at the Unit level and the 3 years prior "TOP TEN" at the Command level.


1997-1998 Selected for Advanced SIGNAL Analysis Training at Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida,

1998-2000 Stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, National Air Intelligence Center (NAIC).

2000-2001 Stationed at Kunia Regional SIGINT Operations Center (KRSOC) on Oahu, Hawaii.

2001 Medically retired from the US Air Force with 80% of my base pay for Depression & Parkinson's disease.

Awarded 80% disability from the Veterans administration making80% of the Air Force Medical Retirements 80% tax free.

2002 Attended the University of Phoenix via a $15,000 grant from the VA. Attended the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification course.

2002 Hired by the Department Of Energy, National Nuclear Transportation Agencies', Office Of Secure Transportation on Kirtland AFB. Responsible for classified and unclassified computer systems and network operations. Provided direct support for over 100 federal agents and 20 civilian contractors. Maintained all AIS equipment, projected annual million dollar budget for the Information Technology Department, coordinated annual acquisition of life cycle replacement for desktop, laptop, and handheld devices between the Information Technology Department & DELL, Inc.drafted, upon delivery of equipment transported equipement from the NNSA warehouse to the OST Agent Facility on Kirtland, AFB. Inventoried, labeled, installed DoE approved system loads with standard office applications and applicable encryption software, deployed systems and ensured secure connectivity to the NNSA network.

2003 Bought my first home.

2005 Placed on full disability by my contractor and received full time disability.

2006 Applied for and received full Social Security Disability
