If this is the real Vincent D'Onofrio (you never know), just wanted to say that the film, and your portrayal of Orson Welles, is excellent. Make more movies! Secondly, thanks for providing so much entertainment as Detective Goren on Criminal Intent. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoyed your portrayal of Welles; as always, your performance possessed that wonderful unspoken, raw grittiness, that you deliver with every role. Thank you...from a writer who is still trying to learn to live with herself.

This was amazing. I watched it for the first time last week and have been thinking about it ever since. I'm glad it's been posted in a place where people can have access to it since, sadly, most people don't get the opportunity to attend the major film festivals. VDO's talent as a writer and director may even surpass his acting talent, which is incredible. This piece made me curious to learn more about Welles, his work and his personal life. Phenomenal work, Vincent!

I just saw this short film yesterday and I think it captures the classic film noir era of the 50's. Not only was the dialog intelligent, it was fun to watch the many different camera angles, to stare at the lighting, and background with the sets and antique props. Just those things alone make this viewable. But you add Vincent and Janine to the picture and it works perfectly. The portrayal of Orson Welles is uncanny and so precise it's eerie. Katherine is so perfect as his assistant -she looked like she stepped out from the 50s.
Thank you for uploading this, I really enjoyed it! FD |
