TRM present a video clip on Nelly Ciobanu's song "Hora din Moldova!" "Hora" is a national Moldovan dance. The word means circle. In history, our ancestors used to seal a peace treaty by forming a circle and inviting the guests to dance the "Hora". The feeling of unity, confidence and trust in each other promoted peace and understanding. Our planet is in the form of a circle; if we all held hands and danced the Moldovan "Hora" no one would doubt that we are all one family. The idea of a contributor-generated video came up during our strong discussions on how best to present the concept of the "Hora".

The idea of the video is to show the unity of all Moldovans and to invite friends from all around the world to think about the simple but very important human feelings of peace, friendship and love. All of Moldova welcomed the idea of the video with enthusiasm. We received 2,500 videos over the course of three weeks; we selected more than 80 contributions to form the video clip. (less info)
