I think that you state that one shouldn't do anything illegal simply because it might attract the attention of the pigs in charge. Doing something illegal (especially the right that one has to practice personal freedom in the consumption of mind-altering chemicals, which has been foolishly forbidden by Congress long ago without sufficient scientific evidence and objective evaluation) is not inherently stupid nor morally wrong. It depends on the law, and as Martin Luther King stated: "There are just laws and unjust laws."
