Ah,, the 80's!! What an amazing time that was! Hitting the Galaxy in Somerdale NJ or the Empire Rock Club in Phila every weekend to meet up with friends and catch some great bands like Ivory Tower & Whitefox. Wow, I miss those days.I love everything Tommy Shaw, Damn Yankees, Styx,Shaw Blades. And I also love Def Leppard,Warrant,Cinderella,Tes la, Whitesnake,Motley Crue,Skid Row,Night Ranger,Bon Jovi,Extreme,Mr Big,Queensryche,GNR, and the list goes on. There were several local bands that played around Phila & Jersey that were awesome, Heavens Edge,Ivory Tower,Whitefox. And the band that started it all for me "The Dead End Kids" back in 1980. But my heart was with my Phila boys, Pyramid. Love you guys!! Nothing compares to the 80's era. A decade of decadence,fun,great music,goofy clothes(I'm guilty) and big hair (again, guilty!). Check out my favorites and you'll get an insight into my favorite decade.
