Film taken during the Karlskoga model flying clubs indoor meeting in Kristinehamn, Sweden early 2009. Pilot Tomas Leijon is slowly demonstrating the Hercules. Nothing fancy in the way of aerobatics but neither is the original. Setup is stock kit engines and 2s 1250 mAh LiPo. Radio is Graupner MC-24 with Hitech HS-50 servos. Model is very light and handels beautiful with a nice sound.

Film shows Hans Asplunds lovely steam model of the "Alexander von Humboldt". Model was rebuilt in 2009 by Pelle Östergren and Tomas Leijon. The model and engine was originaly built by master builder Per Widing of Stockholm, Sweden many years ago. Per is now building full size airplanes! The model runs wonderful and behaves as a heavy old lady should!.. The original 27 MHz radio is now changed to latest 2,4 GHz technology by Tomas Leijon. Film shot at Långbro in the southern part of Stockholm, Sweden in july 2009.

Tomas Leijon makes a show flight at the model airshow in Karlskoga, Sweden in the summer of 2008. The model has a wingspan of 4,2 meters and a take of weight is 24kg. The motors are electric Hacker C50-12 XL brushless motors and the model uses 40 LiPo cells. The model flyes beautiful but requires some careful handling with the sticks. The speaker is Hans Crispin.
