Emigration is now a serious option for Irish people.
40% of 18-24yr olds feel they are likely to emigrate. Another 15% say they don't know. 22% of 25-34 yr olds say it is likely they will leave the country in search of work. 7% of 35-44 yr olds say they will leave. The vast majority of Irish people (72%) want to see the number of non-Irish immigrants reduced.
