This is round one of a huge OSTF match against Digital Jedi, one of Team Fortress's traditional powerhouses. We were anxious to show off our ability against them and were hungry for victory. From a personal perspective, I was excited to be taking on ChaosFiend, who was considered probably the best sniper in TF towards the end of its run.

I came out smoking hot, getting lots of frags while ChaosFiend was struggling to respond. The offense managed a good push and pulled out a capture. Things settled down after that, and I wound up suffering a stretch of a few minutes in the middle of the round during which I just couldn't get a frag. If ChaosFiend wasn't blowing my head off as soon as I stepped out onto the battlement, I was whiffing on the shots I was getting off. I finally got my act together and fortunately, there was no harm to us from a capture standpoint, though DJedi did manage to pull our flag to the spirals before we were able to return it.

We managed to win the round, 1-0. The sniper duel finished 130-111 in favor of ChaosFiend. I was disappointed not to have done better especially since I could point to that stretch when I went cold as the reason for the deficit. On the other hand, we won the round. :D

This was a 10v10 match for OSTF. EHA was never regarded as a top-tier clan (hell, I don't even remember what EHA stood for!) and we expected to win pretty easily. We were so confident, in fact, that I was allowed to play on offense. Both sides managed an early cap, but that would be all for EHA. I came close to getting a coast-to-coast cap for our second, but their sniper took me out as I was about to cross the bridge. No matter, though, as the hard work was done. After our third cap, I switched to sniper to help out the defense because Tiberius was having trouble with their sniper. I didn't actually snipe incredibly well in this round. I mean, I was ok, but Blood was doing quite well against me, though for all his effectiveness against me, he wasn't nearly as effective against the other .Ms. Later on, we stretched our cap lead to 4-1, and I started goofing around a bit. I made some offensive runs (even making it into their basement a few times) and sniping from their side of the grass (they did not appreciate that so much.) Their ramp room soldier also didn't like what I was doing and told me how he felt, and I responded in kind. I then managed to frag him a couple of times. :)

Yes, it was a nice win for .M. It probably could have been six caps but we just couldn't manage another before time expired.

This is the second round of a match against I'm 12. I sniped the whole time. The match featured a lot of flag movement from Marauder, and only a little bit from 12 at the beginning and end. I was pitted against Antw0n for most of the round sniping, and he started out ok, but quickly became overmatched by me. I was really on that night sniping. sQuirtle came out and sniped against me a bit, but the result was more of the same. Antw0n returned later, but wound up just spraying me the whole time (kinda lame.) I did start goofing around slightly, going towards their base, but nothing major. I was pulling great mid-air snipes, though. I was just on fire, really. :)

The final score was 8-2. I wound up with a score of 224, 144 without the 80 points for caps. I think I had two teamkills in the round, which means I had 146 frags. Not bad for half an hour's work. :)
