In a world with no God to give value to people, there could be nothing wrong with the Holocaust.

I think you are referring to "the problem of evil" when you imply that I think the Holocaust was a good thing. God allows bad things to happen, because we couldn't have free will if He didn't allow us to do bad things. Did God cause or give His permission for the Holocaust in any way? No. We did that. Humans. Fallen Man.
Is Free Will worth 8 million lives? I say a life without free will isn't worth anything, so yes.

I said He guides us, not manipulates us like puppets. We still have free will and may still disobey. Now your list of "myths" has no meaning if God uses nature as a tool. Except for the geocentric solar system, which has nothing to do with God. That and the Mary Magdalene and omnipotence ones, which I submit are mistakes on your part. I do want to know by what means you have come to discern the profession of a woman who lived 2,000 years ago.

When it gets interesting, though, is when you take God out of the equation. Then you have no grounds on which to call the holocaust bad.

P.S. Scientists don't know what does cause gravity. We know that masses attract one another, but we don't know why or how.

I think you mistake the tool for the workman. I believe in a God who uses nature like an artist uses a paintbrush. So many things have natural expalainations because nature is the means by which they were accomplished. But there are many things that God does that nature cannot. He created, yes, but He also protects, guides, empowers, loves, and gives purpose to us. From Him we get our personhood. Nature cannot do these things. Furthermore, miracles beyond the ken of nature still happen, and He still speaks to His childeren. These are all devine qualities that, if attributed to anything but God, are being grossly misunderstood.

Well, I've studied logic long enough to know that it is impossible to prove a nagative, e.g. God does not exist. I would be interested to hear your reasoning in relation to this disproof of the biblical God.
2nd, the biblical God did have a penis for about 33 years, but the use of the pronoun "He" comes from the most appropriate Hebrew pronoun for God. Now according to Judeo-Christian theology, God is as much a She as a He, and is more so of both than humans are. He (She) is represented equally by both genders, without their earthly correlation to sexes.
Finally, I submit that nature reflects some devine properties of it's Creator, but has no capacity to generate them.

I have taken a different route. I submit that whether we can or can't prove God's existance has no bearing on whether He actually exists, and whether He exists, not whether we can prove it defines truth. Now here we come to where you may start to disagree with me. I believe in God because of personal experience. It isn't proof, (especially to others) but it's enough for me to go on. If I am right, then I serve Him and propogate truth by proclaiming Him. If I am wrong then I am wrong, but nothing (not even truth) matters anyway if there is no God. That's how an agent of truth can believe in God.

Okay... Final enough free time to deal with God and truth. I think that we can both agree that there is no proof for or against the existance of God. You have, I assume, decided either that you don't know whether there's a God (Agnostic: type 1) or that it can't be known whether there is a God (Agnostic: type2). The former seems fairly logical to me, and the latter seems to stand on shaky logic, but I can understand how someone could come to feel that way anyway.

Thank you for your comment, Ryan. I agree with your remark about Abby Hoffman...
