Man I tell ya, pretty impressive music especially considering you did it with MIDI. Nice work.

Geronimo, the young man playing bass on "I Feel Love," is a wizard at making up band names on demand. The band was checking mics, and he blurted out  "We are Check Republic."

Check Republic is a high school class at Sri Atmananda Memorial School in Austin. They meet twice a week for an hour-long music lesson/band practice. This is a little concert they gave of the songs they've been working on for the last four weeks or so. My daughter is the one on keyboards on "I Feel Love." This is her first performance on keyboards, probably her third session of playing the song. They've got a great teacher, who has a wonderful talent for getting out of the way and letting them go where they want to go.

What is the Check Republic?

Seriously, thank you for your message. I really appreciate that you even took the time to leave a note :). The music from the 7th Guest and 11th hour has always been inspirational for me and my kinda non-standardized way of creating music, which should sound very familiar to you. Are you still busy these days with music for games? Or at least sound effects? Anyways, keep up the good work, the world needs creative people in order to keep the rest of the flock sharp ;).
