The Daily Bell

Welcome! The Daily Bell, published by The Foundation for the Advancement of Free-Market Thinking (FAFMT), is an Internet-based publication developed by committed free-market thinkers who have been sharing their vision with the world in some cases since the late 1980s. This modest Bell brain-trust has covered Austrian economic issues and libertarian movements for an aggregate of about 100-years.

FAFMT's focus is to promote and support the widespread advancement of laissez-faire economic principles, commonly associated with the Austrian School of Economics. We believe that civil society advances when individuals recognize and embrace the philosophy of Misesian "human action."

The analysis of power elite promotions, using mainstream articles as a fulcrum of attack, is perhaps the Bell's most notable current feature. Dominant social themes - the memes of the elite - are designed in large measure to alarm Western citizenry and to stampede them toward authoritarian solutions. The only antidote to power-elite promotions is free-market thinking. Another fairly unique perception that the Daily Bell regularly hammers home is that Internet itself is revealing and ruining these power elite driven dominant social themes - which worked so well in the 20th century.
