Co-author of Mysterious Sky: Soviet UFO Phenomenon, Paul Stonehill presented accounts of sightings and related incidents from Russia and the former Soviet Union. The Soviet space probe, Phobos 2, may well have been knocked out by a UFO as it approached Mars in 1989, based on anomalous images it sent back, he reported. There have been many sightings of US0s-- unidentified submersible objects, Stonehill noted, describing "croakers," mysterious craft that reportedly followed submarines in the North Atlantic during the period of 1975-1980. Cosmonauts, he detailed, have sometimes had baffling experiences while in space, such as seeing unusual spheres and hearing "whispers," voices that telepathically spoke to them.

He shared reports from the region dating back hundreds of years. For instance in 1065 AD, a strange object was said to hover in the skies above Kiev for seven days, and the quality of the sun changed. In 1111 AD, a fiery pillar was seen rising up from the ground and going into the sky. Stonehill also touched on the 1908 Tunguska incident, suggesting that the crash may have involved two objects-- one that shot the other one down while still in the sky, as a way of averting a major cataclysm on the Earth.

The Bilderberg Influence
Investigative journalist Daniel Estulin, who's been researching the Bilderberg Group for more than 14 years, discussed the far-reaching influence the group wields in domestic and world affairs. Describing them as an "aristocracy of purpose," the 130 or so individuals gather for a private meeting held once a year and hail mostly from the United States and Europe (a list of the attendees at the 2007 meeting held in Istanbul is provided in this article from the Turkish Daily News).

The Bilderbergers decide jointly on the best way to deal with the resources of the planet, and exert control over energy and money supplies, reported Estulin. The structure of the group is not pyramidal with one person at the top-- it is "oval" with three groups of 13 people deciding the particular issues and participants in a given year, he added.

Ultimately, the Bilderbergers seek to destroy the US and world economies, so they can consolidate power, said Estulin, who advised people to take their investments out of banks and corporations and put their money in one's local economies. Based on his study of the group, he has concluded that a war with Iran is "off the table," oil will rise to $120 - $130 a barrel and Putin will not be "dislodged" from Russia.

Joining the conversation for the third hour, radio host Alex Jones spoke about a plan he said is backed by the Bilderbergers to reduce the planet's population. He also noted that the "globalists" engineered the drop of the US dollar.

Developing Time Travel
Professor of Physics at the Univ. of Conn., Dr. Ron Mallett shared his research into time travel. His interest in developing a time machine was brought about by the early death of his father and his desire to go back into the past and see him. Mallett's concept for a time machine (see graphic below) centers around the idea that a circulating beam of light can cause a twisting of space and time, looping the past and future together.

Travel into the past could only occur during the time frame that the machine had been turned on, as those are the moments that are "preserved," he explained. For instance, if the machine was created in January 2008 and left on for a year, any month in 2008 could be visited in 2009. However, to go back further into time, he suggested that humans might eventually have access to ET's time machines which may have existed for thousands of years.

Time machines could have practical uses as early warning devices, giving notice about catastrophes. While the cost to create one could run into the billions of dollars, Mallett said his first stage of experimentation would run about $250,000. Once the basic principles can be established, it will take about five years to demonstrate the twisting of light with subatomic particles, and another five years for the twisting of space. He predicted that we could have human time travel by the end of this century.
