Are the people that knock it just disgruntled help desk employees with no college degree while the happy people are the ones with a college education holding the high tech positions making lots of money or is this just a real crappy industry to work in that only appeals to a select few of people? Id love to hear from real professionals. Is this an exciting area? Is it really boring? Why is there such a large amount of people that knock it when its always considered a top career by so many occupational sites that research the statistics about these jobs?

Maybe somebody can help me. Ive been considering a career in IT but I am reading alot of mixed opinions about the field. Some people say that the industry is dying in the US and that everything is being outsourced while others say that there are plenty of opportunities in the field. Some say that everything can be outsourced and others say that there are certain "hands on" type of jobs that could never be outsourced which makes sense to me. When I look for jobs online there seem to be alot, with good pay. When I research the best jobs, the highest paying, the most in demand, IT is always on top. Many people say that IT is boring, that it is a waste of time to study, and that it is a dead end. It seems to me that MOST people who claim to be in the field totally knock it while a small amount actually consider it a great career. Continued->

I made one of your wifi boosters works great instead of card board though I used a soda can I had cut apart into a solid flat sheet .I then coverd that in tin foil to make it more stiff and so it would be more sturdy I then used your template to conect to that works awsome.was at 70% now Im at 100% and that is going through 6 walls.

I realize there is a lot of entitlement mentality floating around YouTube. Lots of people think they're automatically entitled to new videos if they subscribe to someone, and all too many people forget the reason many folks like us do these things is for the fun of it and stuff does happen from time to time. If anyone else is wondering what happened to TA's series, check out the website at Techanvil-com. (Obviously with a dot instead of a hyphen. Gotta love YouTube's anti-URL stuff.) Hope everything straightens out for you and your series. Things have changed a ton in two years on here, but whenever you finally get to make a comeback, I'm sure the videos will be worth watching. |
