The behavior one is not true. My albino cockatiel does everything only a male supposedly does and yet we have eggs. The barring is present in the albinos, but very very hard to see. So either look very closely or wait until it has an egg.

My sulcata is 4 years old right now and very small compared to yours but they are strong, Ive already seen him easily pick up his house and move it where he wants. They are strong creatures and do like attenion and interaction. They both look like they are having a great time.
