What the fuck...? ...punkmotherfucker!!

I didn't feel like describing myself... and I got tired of reading "BLoW ME", which is what I used to have listed here. So instead, I thought I'd replace it with something that truly perplexes me... and worries me, for the sake of the kids, and some adults, who get themselves caught up in something they don't seem to know enough about. So here goes..
Many people, mostly kids, are jumping on the bandwagon and declaring themselves Atheist, and in the same breath, vowing to burn in Hell....

Something to ponder, before declaring to the world that you're Atheist, meaning you don't believe in God, Heaven, etc.... (which, for the record, is fine with me. I am not threatened by others beliefs when they differ from my own.)... But, I just wanted to make an observation. Because I think a lot of kids who are angry at their parents, friends, the world, themselves, etc get caught up in this Atheist Challenge/Burn In Hell nonsense that's going around.
My observation/question/thoughts/ whatever...
I think a lot of these people (not all, but many) are very confused. First of all, a lot of people seem to confuse Atheism with Satanism. Two entirely different ism's. Research, research people!
I just can't wrap myself around the idea that people have somehow managed to find a way to believe in Satan, but not believe in God, and believe in Hell, but not believe in Heaven. It's not possible. Well, it IS possible to believe it... you CAN believe anything you WANT to believe. Somewhere, there's probably someone who believes that the stay-puff-marshmallow-man is God, and that "The Man" is keeping tabs on everything you do, by watching you through your TV screen, and listening to you through the recep's in your house. ((So those of you who share such beliefs, need not read any further....just go check all your power outlets quickly! I think the tape covering one of them is peeling up.... hurry before they hear you!!! hurry!! and don't forget the one behind the couch!!!))
However, any sane person can also believe things that aren't true. Sometimes its a matter of adopting the beliefs of someone who has strong influential power over you & your life... sometimes it's an event, or a series of events (for some, their whole life) that lead them to the conclusion they have drawn. Many other possibilities exist- but what it all boils down to, the bottom line... it's a lack of knowledge.
Typically, people of sound mind and body tend to like to have some type of facts, or research, or have a solid foundation of some form or another as a basis for their beliefs. As opposed to taking random thoughts, ideas that just popped into their head while they were cleaning with chemicals in a poorly ventilated room.
I am not trying to change anyones beliefs.... but if they are truly YOUR beliefs, and you stand by them, then you shouldn't be offended by someone questioning them. My aim is not to offend..... just to raise a few questions/points that perhaps someone hadn't previously considered. ------------------------------ ----------
