THINK Together is a nonprofit organization that provides support to studens outside the normal school day -- primarily in the after-school hours.
The hours at the end of the traditional school day (between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m.) are the peak hours for juvenile crime, and a time when some kids experiment with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes and sex. It doesn't have to be that way.
Our academically-oriented after-school programs provide students with a safe and supportive atmosphere, where caring advocates help students with homework, provide physical and nutrition education, and explore academic enrichment activities.
THINK Together is the largest provider of academically-focused after-school programs in California and one of the fastest growing nonprofits in the U.S.

I am a student at Newport Harbor High School and attendee of the Shalimar Teen Center. Because of all of the hard work and effort that the center, especially Bethany Grimes, has provided all of my class with i am honored to say that we are all headed towards college and universities.
